Las Vegas is about to get a terrifying new attraction, and Dani.702 was among the first to step inside. Universal Horror Unleashed at Area15 officially opens mid-August, bringing a year-round, fully immersive horror experience to the city. Unlike seasonal haunted houses, this standalone Universal Parks creation features elaborately themed sets, multiple scare zones, four haunted houses, live entertainment, and themed dining.
During her preview, Dani toured each of the four horror houses: Scarecrow: The Reaping, The Exorcist: Believer, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Universal Monsters: Unmasked. Each maze was packed with cinematic detail, convincing actors, and plenty of jump scares. Beyond the haunts, visitors can enjoy three themed bars, unique cocktails, a sit-down restaurant, and stage performances hosted by familiar Universal horror icons like Jack the Clown.
Universal Horror Unleashed will operate five days a week (six in October), with ticket options for single or multiple walkthroughs and discounts for locals. With its mix of high-quality set design, immersive storytelling, and chilling atmosphere, this expansion cements Area15 as one of Las Vegas’ hottest entertainment spots. Fans of horror, theme parks, and Universal Studios will find this a must-visit destination.
