Restaurants tack on hidden fees that add 4-5% to bills, often waived only when customers push back.
Casinos have shifted from player-friendly table games to high-margin slot machines, increasing the house edge and reducing chances for gamblers to win. The introduction of 6-to-5 blackjack tables has further diminished player odds, quietly draining pockets while masquerading as standard games. Despite these changes, many visitors remain unaware, fueling a cycle of corporate greed fueled by customer ignorance.
Compounding these issues, Las Vegas is grappling with a rising homeless population interfering with casino experiences and national security concerns.
