In this eye-opening video, Pompsie takes viewers on a gritty tour of three motels in Las Vegas located between the Strip and Fremont Street. Starting with the Thunderbird Boutique Hotel, he finds surprisingly decent amenities like a clean pool and a stylish lobby, though the room shows wear and tear and questionable wall stains. For $74, the value is questionable but not unbearable.
Next up is the Super 8 by Wyndham. Despite its lower $62 price tag, it offers a cleaner, more spacious room than the first motel. However, the strong smell of smoke in a non-smoking room, scattered trash, and minor cleanliness issues still leave much to be desired. Still, it stands out as the best of the three.
Finally, Pompsie visits the OYO Oasis Motel—by far the worst experience. The room is filthy, crawling with dead cockroaches, and filled with broken furniture, exposed wires, and used toilet paper. The location is slightly better, being closer to the Strip, but safety concerns and poor conditions make it completely unfit for guests. Pompsie wraps up with a clear message: skip the motels.
